Default Will a performace chip work?

I have a 94 blazer 4.3L. and i was wondering if i can hook a performamce chip up to my engine and how.

What do you mean by a "performance chip'? do you mean Programmer?

like what are some things i could tweak to get more horsepower out of it?

Yea like a hypertech max energy programmer? Yea they do work. I myself don't have any experience with them but a few on here do. I personally am gonna go with a PCM tune. Search the forum for programmers and PCM tunes.
