Default will this work?

i have a 97 blazer, looking to swap a 350 or 400 sbc into.
i know the 350 will fit pretty easy and not too much hassle, but would a 400 fit? will it also bolt up to the tranny i have on the truck now like the 350?
i have a 4.3 vortec 4x4. what else needs to be done besides motor mounts, fuel lines, and swap headers?im going with a carb'd setup as well thanks for any info offered!!

Mounts, Swap headers, electrical, intake, you may need a cowl hood to make room for the intake... Google is really helpful here.
