Default '00 Dying while on the highway

Hey all, OSS here;

I took my truck on a 560KM trip on Friday, and the truck died on me 10 mins from my house at a stop light, then again while going 110km/hr and a handful more times on this trip. No codes present. On Sunday I continued my journey another 500KM's and it died twice only when comming into a service station...changed the fuel filter today (black fuel comming out of it, yuck!) but again, it died once when I was up to city speed limits. What the hell? Still, no codes.

Is just the engine cutting out, what about the lights and gauges?

Yes, it's just the engine that looses power and stalls out.

I would start with a fuel pressure and leakdown test. When was the last time it had a tune up? Have you tried to clean the maf sensor snd egr valve?
