Hey Blazer forum. Have been having an issue recently and of course shops want a fortune to evaluate so that you're already half way in the door and have no choice but to allow them to repair your vehicle versus going elsewhere.

Mine is a 2002 Blazer S-10 with a manual 5-speed transmission. Am at +- 180k miles, have owned the car since brand new (10 yrs this Sept.) and have had 2 previous master/slave cylinder and clutch replacements.

Recently the truck will Revv up when I press the clutch pedal to shift, not sure if its coming from the transmission or flywheel, etc. and then the RPMs sound like they go back to normal once I release the clutch pedal. Additionally while driving I notice the transmission will do what' I'll describe as slight jerk and bog down, pull, or drag when I let off the gas. These things only seem to occur or to be more prevelant in the mid range RPMs that I drive in (I'd guesstimate 1800-2800 RPMs), and don't seem to occur, or at least not as prevalently or as often, outside of this RPM range. Also can't say for sure whether it's been happening outside of 2nd-3rd gear or not since I've been doing the majority of my driving on side streets. But can test and update the thread.

Understandably without hearing or witnessing it in person it may be difficult to diagnose but would appreciate if I could get a bit of feedback from some of the experts here in the forum on what they'd suspect so that I might have a good idea where to start.
