122k transmission problems starting
well heres the deal, i've got 122k on my transmission in my 2002 4x4 blazer. had a really warm week for february and then it got cold again last weekend. thats when it started. transmission is having trouble shifting into overdrive. i went and had the fluid changed this morning and it seems to have helped. being mechanically inclined, i know this is just the beginning of what could be complete transmission failure. so my plans are to buy a trans from a salvage yard and rebuild it to replace my original trans.
I am open to any suggestions for performance upgrades to make the replacement handle all it can.

There's a guy online who sells kits with all the performance upgrades, and he sells how to dvd's. I can't remember the site, but maybe someone will know. There are tons of places to buy such things, but the guy I'm talking about also has a support forum.

ProBuilt Automatics... something like 4L60e/700r4.com I think. I bought a kit from there for my car. Works really well and hits hard for a street/strip kit. I'm upgrading to an electronic transmission since the governor is giving fits with the 2-3 shift. If I had a 4L60e so I could tune shift points it would be outstanding.
