Default 1972 350 engine

I just bought the above Blazer with a snowplow and the dip stick tube for the oil is loose and pulls out of the block with the dipstick. Can anyone tell me how it's supposed to be mounted to prevent this?
Thanks.

It's a press fit into the block and yours has been removed before. Just buy a new tube for it and tap it in.

So to be clear, it's a press fit, there's no bracket?
Is it possible to repair the old one?
