This rustbucket has been giving problems forever now it’s gotten new alternator, battery, thermostat, some new vacuum line to the power brake booster, new fuel pump just the pump I put a new one in there, new plugs, new distributor not new wires yet the engine coolant temp sensor is melted out but has been like that for awhile and it ran ok before this the worst of the problem was new spark I started with a cap and rotor hopeing but no so I replaced the distributor and it started getting spark again consistently but now it will just startup rev a little bit then die I know it’s got a bad power brake booster but I didn’t think it would affect it like this it ran fine before the distributor went out. There was also gunk in the fuel pump housing I cleaned it out and replaced a section of fuel line that was crimped with pressurized rubber injector line and it’s getting fuel up to the injectors it drips when it’s not running but sprays when it does the timing does also need adjusting but I can’t do it without her trying to run but I did have it to where it would startup idle pretty good and I could go about a mile down the road and it would die and if I waited a little bit I could get it to start but it would not idle I had to violently feather the throttle to get it to chug along at 2 miles an hour and it died multiple times it was also smoking a lot when it does the chugging stuff any help would be appreciated thanks y’all
