I found a rebuilt transmission from a 2000 4.3 Blazer. Is the transmission the same as the one from my 1997. I need to replace/rebuild the trans from my '97 and I found the trans from the 2000 and figure I could swap them. Would this be a straight forward swap?

 

So long as the 2000 is a 4wd truck. It should be a straight up swap. The 2000 trans will have updated components in it as well.
