Default 1998 engine trouble

As posted I have a 1998 Blazer 4.3 W motor. The engine is pretty much junk so I have to figure out what will fit. I was told that I could only get a '98 Blazer 4.3 W motor and that has been a pain to find. Im in Wisconsin, any help with this is greatly appreciated.

well the same thing happened to me i spun a rod bearing in my 98 and have been doing research and from what i found it doesn’t just have to be a 98 but some of the newer engines from the s10 blazers just have a few different things like knock sensors and stuff but just do a little research and you should find what will fit.
