1998 Jimmy 4x4 p0785 code

1998 Jimmy 4x4 p0785 code
I have a 1998 Jimmy 4x4 thats is trowing out the p0785 code. I think this is the 3-2 solenoid. Would this cause the truck to knock off going down the road. What is the fix for this. Could it be done in the yard or do i have to take to a tranny shop??? Thanks in advance for your help....
