Have a 2000 blazer with 207k on it. I bought it with a bad head gasket and rebulit the topend. When its cold it either doesn't engage in reverse or it kicks in and out until its warmed up. I also noticed sometimes its starting off in 2nd gear. And has typical convertor shudder at 45-50mph. the truck came with all service records and has had the fluid changed as schedaled. Its not dark or brown and doesn't smell burnt. Will a typical shift correction kit fix these problems or maybe new servos and accumalators.? Id like to try to fix it before is smokes the clutches. Thanks in advance.
