Default 2000 blazer no spark

Died driving down the road and has no spark at plug. Replaced cap, rotor, sensor mounted in distributor (crank?). Tested ig module and passed and coil ohms out the same as a new one. Have pulsing signal at one coil wire and 11.5 volts at other that drops to 10 something when cranking. No spark out of coil. Was going to try coil next. Any advise?

I see that you have the same problem as I am having with my 2000 Blazer. Did you ever figure it out? Seems as though you did not get any input from the forum.

Sorry for not replying to close this post. It ended up being the coil even though I could not detect any difference with an ohm meter between new and old. That is why I tried other things first but finally tried the coil and it fired right up. There are some older posts that that have different tests to do, I followed these tests and it pointed to the coil.

Good luck!
