going to attempt changing spark plugs wires etc,plugs look real rusty,dont have much faith...thought youall might get a kick out of the manifold...maybe someday they will just fall off?....if i can get the photo to work?

 

Wow :/ you've got to be in the rust belt

Theoretically, you should be fine. The rust SHOULDN'T have made it's way to the threads of the plug because of the crush washer that the spark plugs have.

That being said, if it'll make you more comfortable, you can always spray down the plugs where they thread into the head a couple of days before you attempt to put a socket on them.
