2000 blazer sputters and slow throttle response
so i bought a 2000 blazer its nice loaded, I love it BUT as title reads "it sputters and has slow throttle response" Any ideas? i dont really want to get into a MAF so i am lookin for a good quick fix. Plugs were changed 2 months ago, Maybe the distributor? or o2 sensor? the coolant doesnt leak or anything, also anyone know how to replace a heater core? i live in maine and winters are cold NEEED HEAT lol, anyway thank you hope someone can give me a pointer!

What could be quicker, cheaper, and easier than a MAF cleaning? Check out the Tech Article (DIY) Index link in my signature for the how-to along with how-to's for other basically free preventative maintenance.

to start out, try this
check the spark plug wires and the cap and rotor for any arcing or corrosion, also check the air filter
clean the throttle with "air intake cleaner" and a rag
replace the fuel filter
the heater core is beneath the dash board on the passenger side, i've never done one but i've heard its a 7 or 8 hour job
