2000 Chevy blazer pcv valve cover problems
Ok so I have a 2000 Chevy blazer 4x4 4.3 that usually cranks hard but always starts it runs fine no problems other than when sometimes when I’m cranking the ignition my pcv valve cover blows off of the intake manifold it is not the pcv valve itself it is just a cover with a hose in it that comes from the pcv valve. It’s just a little plastic cover that you push down and twist and it locks in its got a line to the pcv valve and a vacuum line connected to it. I’ve replaced it ten times and I’m tired of doing it. It only blows and breaks off when cranking to start if anyone could know what is causing this and could lend some insight it would be appreciated thank you

Following because I need to know what in the world would cause this!
When you say it "blows off" are you saying that there is some sort of high air pressure pushing it out? Could it be something like a throttle cable or some such thing that is pulling it out? Is the twist-lock mechanism not catching?
