2000 chevy Blazer - Rough Idle after Tune-up
I have a 2000 Chevy blazer has 155K. About 2 weeks ago, it started to idle rough on start up. It feels like its choking and wants to die but does not. Once I give it some gas the choking goes away and it drives normal. It was time for a tune up so I had new plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter and oil change done. Air filter is less than a month old. Nothing has gotten better or worse since the tune up. The shop I took it to said it that upon inspection it appears the crankshaft position sensor was misaligned (-15) with the distributer. That's been corrected. According to the notes from the shop, there is some play with the distributer shaft, but it's within spec. The fuel pressure is at idle is 53 PSI and jumps up to 65 when the gas petal is pushed down. They as well as I are stumped. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the rough idle?

Have you cleaned the EGR valve? MAF sensor? Throttle body including the IAC valve & bore?

Greetings All.....Hello
This is the first time I'm posting here & probably the only time...
I used to own a 2002 Blazer ZR2...the Aggro one
It was cool until about 2 1/2 years ago and then it started running funny.
No body could figure it out.
This morning I traded it. NEEDLESSLY.
Check this posting out if you're having a rough idle, loss of power, "bumpy" ride ect....http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...gN6Gul40mQcDsA
It's not the exact service bulletin from GM bit it's close.
I wish I would've remembered this or at least had it in my hand a couple of weeks ago.
This is the least I can do at this point.
I'm gone.
