2001 pcv problem
been having a problem for a while now with my 2001 4wd/4dr blazer where it was having an annoying grinding sound that turned out to be a bad rubber connector between the pcv and the metal tubes that connect it to the manifold (was dry rotted after 160,000). Eventually the problem turned into backfiring sometimes when i started it from the connection coming loose and sending the vacumn into a frenzy; I would push down on the pcv and restart the car and all would be well. So like I said I replaced that rubber part and all has been well but now the rubber stopper part that is on the manifold comes loose every now and then but I have no idea what to call it and cannot get a parts shop/chevy parts site to identify it...I actually have limited car knowledge and am only typing information based on what I have been alerted to by my dad. Anyone know the name of the part??? Thank you.
