My 2001 Blazer auto transmission will not shift into 3rd gear. The line from the transmission to the rad fell off and it went dry. I have the chance to buy a 1999 blazer. Will the transmission fit in my 2001??

 

I was told only a 2001 will go in a 2001. Searched and found one for 250.

 

Not true!!! I p/u a rebuilt one from a 98 & put in my 01' everything was the same.... Only difference being is 4wd or 2wd ........was told u can swap the tail shaft from one to the other!? Not positive though about as i had found a 4wd trans
