Default 2004 check engine light and car shaking

I have a 2004 chevy blazer 2dr 4wd. Today when I started it up I noticed it was shaking some. I restarted it and it went away but on my 10 minute drive it started and the check engine light came on. I changed the oil wondering if it was that cause it was low and dirty but it didnt change anything. Also a fluid it being blown out the tail pipe. Smells like gas but not sure.

Has anyone had this problem or know a way to fix it?

Did you get the code read? Most places auto parts stores will do it for free. Could be several things, get the code read and post back.

I got the codes read and it says the 3rd cylinder misfired. What has to be done to fix that?

Use the 'search' feature for "number 3 plug" and you should get plenty of info.

I agree sounds like a tune up is in order. I would do the wires, cap and rotor at the same time. The #3 plug is a PITA, I usually remove the air box and steering shaft and go in from the top. I would also clean the maf sensor while I was at it.

Should I replace all the spark plugs at once or is just replacing one for now fine?

Also where is that maf sensor located?
