Hey guys I have my engine out and I'm getting ready to put my 305 in and I know that I have to get a different oil pan , my question is does any other vehicle have the oil pan I need . I have to go to the scrap yard tomorrow to get the 2.8 motor frame mounts . I don't really want to buy a new one cause there almost 300 bucks and very soon I'm doing a solid axle swap . Thanks for any help or advice you can offer .

I dont think any other pan will work. I did some research a while back and couldnt find nothing.

 

for the frame mounts i would just get these S10V8.com Parts Store :: S10 V8 Conversion Mounts :: 4WD 4.3 to V8 Mount Kit. since you will need the adapter plate for the block too. Those are the ones i bought for doing my 350 swap soon
