350 V8 with a single exahust
Hi All,
i just got a 87 blazer K5 with 350 V8 and 400 Tr.
i noticed that this 350 replaced a smaller one (i think 305), and the previous owner hooked the 350 to the old exhaust system (single tube)
.
my question is do i need to modify this?
do i need to install a second exhaust system? if not then how can i know if the one i have is enough for the 350 or not?

Need to, no. The 305 and 350 came from the factory with the same exhaust.
If you plan on building the engine to produce more power than stock then go for it. As a mildly driven daily driver on a stock engine you won't notice much gains in a full custom exhaust.
