Question 4.3 engine life

Have a 2002 blazer with 198,000 miles on it, runs like new have kept up on all the maint. Was wondering how many miles these engines can last for? Have put a lot of time into my truck and I love it, planning on getting another if it ever dies!

there was one at the local wrecker with over 400k km(250k miles) on it. body was good, so im guessing the drivetrain gave out.

The 97 Blaze I am parting out has 211000, still going.
We are going to use it in a 98 shortbed project.
These things are like sewing machines.

I have a 97 with over 205000 and still going with regular maintenance and upkeep it could last for over 300,000, you will probably have to rebuild in shortly thereafter just like any other Chevy engine with a lot of TLC...LOL

my old one had 202k miles, before someone wrecked into it, and was still going strong, the current one has 185k miles.
I have a buddy who has over 350k miles on his, saw one at the yard that had like 620k

206k on my '96 Sonoma, only thing I've done to it is LIM gaskets. Tranny just finally crapped out.

Just passed up 200k on my 99 s10 blazer. The only thing that's new is the transfer case. Original engine, tranny, etc.

I did, however put new leafs and ball joints on recently, as well as LIM and radiator, but other than that, it's all factory
