I got a 2005 gmc jimmy 4x4, with the 4.3 vortec and a 4l60e trans. I recently blew up my 4l60e and have been looking for a replacement, and I found a 4l65e local to me for relitively cheap. Doing some reaserch I found that the 4l65e trans is the superior trans, however I'm not sure how easy a swap would be.
. My question is how much work would be involved in the swap, if it would bolt up to my transfer case, and if my stock electronics would still work with the 4l65e trans.
