Default 4L60E Compatiable????? HELP!!!

I have a 94 S-10 Blazer with the 4.3 Vortec and 4L60E.
Today I am going to look at a rebuilt 350 motor that came out of a 68' Camaro. Not sure if the guy is telling the truth but that is besides the point. Will this old of a 350 bolt up to my 94' 4L60E or will I need to find a new transmission if I decide to purchase it. Thanks for the help.

It will bolt up. The problem you are going to run into is electrical... Getting things to play nice between the "old school" engine and "new school" transmission.

Seeing as that you have the CPI motor, your ECU will not like the missing inputs from the old engine when you drop in the v8. Considering that there is no induction system quite like CPI available for a v8 and the fact that you will likely go with a carburetor, the ECU will not know how to control the transmission due to the lack of a MAP and TPS sensor as well as other sensors that may be needed for the ECU to properly control shift timing and line pressure.

You can get a stand alone controller, but they are $$$.
