4wd 96 blazer oil pan problems

Default 4wd 96 blazer oil pan problems

im trying to remove the oil pan to replace to oil pump and clean the pick up screen i already have to axle pushed forward and the pan from what i can tell unbolted but it just wont drop it moves in every direction but no matter what i try it just wont come down it has more then enough room to drop but it just wont i tried lightly tapping it with a block of wood and a hammer i have the bolts removed where it connects to the block and transmission are there any more im missing?

did you get the two nuts near the front of the tranny and at the back of the pan? mine was super loose but just would not come off until we lifted the motor

Yeah I got thoese out without a problem I think it might be the oil lines that run right by it I haven't been able to work on it these past two days cause of the rain but tomorrow im going to try some other things on it why did they make it out of aluminum you can't pry on it
