took a video today. I took out the battery, and tray, then connected the battery to juper cables to see if the vacuum actuator works. It doesn't even move........will post video after it uploads

Engine must be at idle, transmission in park, and then select 4WD.

will do that tomorrow with video. I shouldve had the car on lol

Yup, need electrical for the encoder motor to work, need vacuum for the actuator to work.

or going less then 3mph can shift in neutral too.

bought and installed a new vacuum actuator thinking it was the problem and it wasn't.....did your test captain and i am able to move the tire by hand still.....now what?

LF tire on the ground, if you can rotate the RF tire with the cable manually pulled in, (about 3/4"), the problem is in the right front axle tube. Check the cable connection at the axle tube. If the cable is connected, the axle tube will need to be removed and disassembled to diagnose the problem.
