4x4 not working

my 97 blazer push button does not light up nor does it engage the 4x4 at all,checked fuse box but fuses were ok,it seems the button is not getting power,changed button,so i know its not that,are there other fuses,or could it be one of the elictrical boxes under the dash,when i push the button i dont even here any clicking or engaging sounds.anyone know what the problem might be

I am going to throw out a guess on this one and say it has something to do with
your encoder motor which is attached to your Transfer case. I am sure others
will help with the trouble shooting. I think you would need a very good OBD 2 scanner to check for a code. Here is a start for you. Are you sure your switch is good? Use the search
function too. There are probably lots of posts that you can hunt through and gather some
good help from.
Motor and Relay Voltage Checks
Whenever the electric-shift motor is turned on or off, the motor and its electrical circuits are tested both in the de-energized and energized condition. If one or both voltage relays fail to detect the proper voltage after energizing or de-energizing, the shift is aborted by the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and a DTC of 3 is stored to indicate a faulty TCCM motor circuit.
