i have the chance to pick up a 5.3l out of an 03 GMC Envoy with low miles really cheap. Has anybody attempted this swap? I can handle the wiring and fab mounts, etc. just wondering if there would be clearance issues...

 

The biggest hurdles with that swap are oil pan and exhaust. Its been done countless times though and is very doable. Do a Google search and you will find a ton of info about it!

 

I might venture that route if I can't get my 4.3 to run right
