85 chevy blazer s10 2.8l v6
I'm gonna start off with, i'm new here so if there is another thread about this i'm sorry, i cant find anything to help me.
Now my problem is this, When i bought this blazer i noticed that the spark plugs weren't in the right spot (it was running sluggish) so i got a haynes and put them in the right spot(or so i thought) well i'm down to it not starting at all now. i've looked in 2 different haynes manuals and they both say the opposite of each other. one says
drivers side---5-3-1----------radiator
passenger side---6-4-2-------radiator
the other says the opposite of that. So i need to know how to get this thing back to TDC and the firing order/cylinder numbers please!!!
I hate not having a running vehicle.

I think the confusion is because the 4.3L V6 has the odd piston on the drivers side, while the 2.8L V6 has the odd pistons on the passengers side, at least according to the diagram Swart posted. Seeing as GM put both the 2.8 and 4.3L into the S10 style Blazers the book may list them both. Verifying your looking at the right engine specs in the book.
