89 Blazer 350 engine dying out/running rough
I have an 89 Chevy Blazer, 350 engine, full size and I am having trouble getting her to run right.
Problems:
1) Engine often dies out when I come to a complete stop.
2) Engine bogs down when I press on the gas (bogs down under minimal load).
3) Engine Backfires; most of the time from under the hood (via the intake I’m assuming) but also out of the tailpipe at times.
4) Engine misses in 4th gear when gear shifter is in overdrive (with lower RPM’s); I often have to manually downshift to 3rd in order to keep my RPM’s up; when I do this it minimizes the engine misses.
Recent tune up efforts:
Changed spark plugs & cables
Distributer cap & rotor
I had the timing (belt) adjusted by Off Road LTD
Injectors replaced about 7 years back
Injector cleaner flushed through the system with a full tank of gas
Oil change & filter
Cleaned & recharged K&N air filter housing
I’m not a mechanic & furthermore, I’m a newbie to the whole discussion form model so I am fairly optimistic about the outcome of this plea for assistance. I have a copy of AllData & it is an awesome tool but I can definitely use all of the help that I can get! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Could be a vacuum leak. Check all the vacuum hoses and use and automotive stethoscope to listen for leaks
