Default 91 blazer stalls

First off, hello to everyone, this is my first post. I just got a 91 blazer from my brother in law. The vehicle runs perfect. cranks up fine, runs fine and drives fine. the problem im having is after the vehicle sits and idles for 10-15 minutes once I put the truck in gear and press the gas is sputters out and dies. it sounds like it is getting too much fuel and is causing it to die. If i keep on the gas it stays running but runs really rough and after driving it for 2 or 3 minutes it clears out and runs just fine again. I can smell fuel and it burns a little black when this happens.

The truck does have an aftermarket exhaust system. It still has the original exhaust manifold but the catalytic converters have been removed. Ive put a k&n air cleaner on it but this problem was happening before i put it on. When i changed the air cleaner i noticed the throttle body gasket was so deteriorated it was just hanging and serving no purpose. Ive seen a few possibilities on the internet, such as fuel filters, EGR valves, vaccuum leaks, o2 sensors and timing problems. Im leaving back to korea tomorrow so i dont have time to start changing out parts and find the problem. Im trying to find the most likely solution so i can have my brother fix it while im overseas. Any help is greatly appreciated

I suggest then, that you put your brother on here. Maybe change the password and give that to him. Or a different login. It's hard enough to work remotely, even harder for third hand communications.

This is probably not something that is answered in a couple of back-and-forths. Unless it's a leaky injector or fuel pressure regulator which very well could be.
