Question '93 S-10 fuel issue

Hey all. about 6 weeks ago, I purchased a 2WD '93 S-10 Blazer, 4.3 vortec, 166K miles, and for the most part a sweet little ride that appeared to have decent maintenance on it. The Fuel pump, filter, and fuel pump relay have all been changed out recently. About a week ago, I noticed I could feel a slight pulsing vibration through the fuel pedal, but only between 67 - 70 mph on the hi-way, and made a mental note to try some injector cleaner, but haven't made it that far yet. I fired it up this afternoon, drove about 300 feet, and it shut down. The engine cranks like a bad dog, but doesn't try to start, even with a little fuel added manually.
Up until today, it's run like a champ, fires on the first try, rides well, etc. Thoughts?

try scanning for a check engine light. if it didnt fire with fuel sprayed into it might be a spark issue. but now youre getting into it can be one of 20 things, timing chain broke, crank sensor went out, coil is out, wiring issue, etc

Yea, it's going to get interesting unfortunately. Started checking other systems a bit more, no spark.Did the unthinkable and threw a coil at it just because it was factory original and was easy to get to (don't hate) and of course, no luck. It dawned on me that we lost the interior light, and the cigarette lighter a couple of days before this, so I'm just starting to go through and check electrical as I have time. I wasn't able to pick up a D-VOM until today, but I'll pray there's an electrical snitch before I start threatening to tear anything apart.

Stupid is as stupid does, lol. Make a note not to leave your tools and testers in a different county than you live in. In spite of a really worn rotor and cap, problem ended up being fairly simple, ignition module went down. $46 for a new module took care of the problem, after looking at the condition of cap etc, and the amount of build up inside the cap, replaced cap and rotor as well. Little red rider is up and purring, have fun all
