Hello, I'm new to this site and have been looking around in it for a couple of days and I finally decided to join. I just traded for my very first S10 Blazer a few weeks ago & I love it. But, I need a little help. First off it's got the 4.3L CPI in it and I am thinking the EGR valve is kinda crapped up. I can't locate it, can someone tell me where it is? Also, I found a problem with the blinkers, the Hazards flash if you turn them on to go right or left & when you turn the headlights on both turn indicator arrows light up on the dash. I thought it was in the hitch wiring as it had a small Draw-Tite hitch on the back. I removed it & unhooked the plug wiring. I made sure all the wiring was correct & reinstalled both tail light housings. I moved to the front to check the wiring, removed the air filter box so I could get to the wiring better & found where someone had tied into the wiring harness & also added a jumper wire across a flat plug. I couldn't see anywhere that plug would plug into so I removed the jumper wire. Well, the dash lights & everything comes on but the engine will not turn over. I put the jumper wire back in & it started right up. What is that plug for & where does it plug into?
