well the engine is overall just rusted as hell. plus i really dont have the tools to do the whole head gasket myself, so for the price that my friend would do the head gasket for hes just going to swap the whole entire engine with a lot less miles on it.

 

1993 s10 4.3 vortec... my friend picked up my truck today and he thinks it might actually be the intake manifold gasket that went, not the head gasket. would the intake manifold gasket cause the truck to run terrible too? the truck was stalling out, not blowing TOO much smoke, was losing some antifreeze but overall was really just running like crap... any ideas? thanks guys
