Default 93 transmission fluid change help - Urgent!

i am in desperate need of help as i have a important day Saturday and need my truck. so it would be greatly appreciated.

checked my fluids Monday and realized it was time to change tranny fluid in my '93 Automatic blazer, got everything i needed today and got under the truck, unbolted the transmission oil pan, then realized it wouldn't drop out as easily as i had hoped, i loosened the passenger side of the crossbar and still couldn't manage to maneuver the pan out from under the exhaust.

what i was wondering is if their is an easier way to remove the pan then taking off the crossbar and exhausted?

Maybe unbolting the collectors at the Y Pipe so you can move the exhaust around enough for the pan to pass? That &/or if your exhaust has rubber hangers - slide a couple off so the exhaust can be moved.
I'm not familiar with '93's, sorry, just a couple ideas.
