Default 94 Bravada still runs poorly and exhaust smells rich

Hello, my name is James and really need some help and advise. I recently bought a 1994 bravada with the engine code w. The engine had a rough idle and exhaust stunk pretty bad. so i did some research on this particular engine and come to find out the most common issue is the cpi injector, fpr, and nut kit usually are the culprit. i also noticed a coolant leak from the front of the intake manifold. so far i have replaced intake manifold gaskets because of the coolant leak, cpi spider with regulator, fuel filter, cap and rotor, spark plugs, temp sensor, oil psi switch, air filter, and engine oil it was nasty and the coil pick up in the distributor. when i had the intake manifold off i sent it into my local machine shop and had it water sonic cleaned and checked for cracks it turned out great, like brand new. while the intake was off i also checked the egr valve to ensure it wasn't stuck or dirty. i also tested the tps to ensure it was in good working condition. i also set the timing. Now, it runs a heck of a lot better but still smells like raw fuel out the tail pipe and idle surges only at idle and still has poor fuel millage. what am i missing? o2 sensor's? catalytic converter? why the idle surge and poor fuel mileage and raw fuel smell out the tailpipe?

What brand of parts did you put in for your fuel items (pump, spider/fpr) and did you do the nut kit when you did the spider?

A fuel pressure and leak down test would be helpful.

Key on engine off, should be above 60psi and not drop below 50 in 10 minutes.

the fuel spider i used was from Botech. they specialize in fuel supply products. i have not replaced or tested the fuel pump, nor did i replace the nut kit. while the plenum was off i checked for fuel leaks and all i saw was the fpr and nylon tubes from the spider leaking. should i replace them any way the nut kit any way? i guess i probably should have since i was in there. i took some photos while i was in there but do not know how to post them. lol by the way thank you for your help, its much obliged.

here you can see on the left (drivers side) the fuel washed away the carbon build up, from the fuel leaking. i have another photo that is better. ill load it up to.

i guess the next step would be to test the fuel pump. but here you can see a bit better the washing from the fuel. thanks again for your help.

Washing on the driver side indicates a leaky nut kit. Washing on the passenger side indicates a leaky fuel pressure regulator. Pretty obvious in both images the nut kit lines are leaking. Most auto parts stores stock them, or they can get them for you.

After replacing the lines, check the fuel delivery system and post all 4 numbers: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/
