Hello Blazer family! I am struggling to figure out why my 94 2wd s10 will not stay running. The car will start cold with no problem. After driving for a while it will start to sputter like it is being choked out during acceleration. Releasing the gas pedal and accelerating slowly helped a bit, but not fully, sometimes leaving the car to shut off and NOT starting again without letting car sit for a few hours. Originally I believed it to be the fuel pressure regulator; replaced that but still had the same problem. Next I replaced the throttle position sensor, as well as, the EGR and PCV valves... same problem. Fuel pump comes on with no problem, but I replaced the relay switch anyway. Fuel filter was also replaced less than 6 months ago. I am thinking of replacing the spider injector and fuel lines next unless someone else can help me who may have had a similar problem. I feel like I am chasing a gremlin because there is NO "service engine light" coming on and the local mechanic did not want to waste my time (or his) doing the same as me... If anyone could assist me in keeping this rig on the road I would be thankful. With only 130k she is too young for me to put out to pasture, especially with a teenager who just got their license. Thank you in advance.
