94 tranny in a 95?

Default 94 tranny in a 95?

will this work? i have a 95 and found one out of a 94 for a killer price. are they the same? im unsure as i have yet to pull mine out. thanks

There was a revision done to the transmission sometime in the 95 model year. This revision added a PWM TCC solenoid and has several differences. If the front pump cover has PWM in raised letters for both transmissions, swap away. If neither have PWM in raised letters, swap away. But if one has PWM and the other does not, then you cannot do the swap.
