95 blazer swap to a 97 blazer tranny

95 blazer swap to a 97 blazer tranny
Have been reading a lot but have gotten 2 different answers. already stuck with this 97 tranny, so trying my hardest to see if i can make it work. the 95 tranny does have the pwm stamped on the front pump. so does that mean i can swap in the 97 tranny without any issues???? please help
