Default 96 4.3L spark plug gap mystery

I gapped the new sparkplugs at .045 according to the maint section of the original manual in the glove box. Then I saw that the sticker under the hood shows .060 The GM service manual says .060. The old plugs @ 75K look great and were gapped at .045 I stayed with .045 and its fine.

Thoughts...feelings? I'm just curious.

I have no idea why the owner's manual would have said .045" because AC/Delco's website says .060", no matter which of their plugs you use. Go with .060" like the GM service manual, underhood emissions sticker, and AC/Delco all say.
