I went with the Eichlin, hopefully it holds up, this is not what I would call my favorite activity lol. Based on what I can tell the stock bracket "should" work with this upgrade. I ordered the other one just in case. Ill let you know how it turns out! Thanks again for all of your help.

OK I have it installed. I fired it up, and it went bananas, like it REALLY came alive, im talking 3500 rpms or more, I had to shut it down. Anyway there is a vacuum leak. Its coming from whatever the break booster line goes to on the plenum, I can not figure out that that part is called. It will not sit properly back down and twist in, I think it needs replaced. Do you know what that is called?

***UPDATE** I finally figured out what it was called. its this part number 12602245 Power booster brake vacuum tube fitting.

On second attempt, some WD40 got it to slide right in, almost like it was made for it.

It idles right around 1k, a touch under, so I'm pretty happy with that.

It still has a slightly rough idle, I'm hoping a tune up will take care of that. There could be a small vacuum leak somewhere I missed as well.

When you get a chance take a look at your 4 fuel trims to see how those injectors are doing and fuel control in general.

Also, inspect your air intake after the MAF for leaks/unmetered air.
