Honestly.. I don't even know anymore. We've given up. I needed to get home to my dog so we just left it. He's going to take it to a mechanic on Tuesday.

And it wasn't my call on what to do.. I was just the person to read out what people said as well as look for info while they tried to fix it.

I know you're the unfortunate middle man. And of course when you look for answers on the net, you will get weird responses.. but given the urgency, you check basic things first. If the fuel pump aint running changing the filter dont do ****. Now you know more than they do.

You now know that AND how to use the net to find answers. Evidently they dont know cars, or how to use the net.. smartphone or computer, which ever.

Petyfrog, do you make this stuff up as you go? beating a gas tank with a board is not in any shop manual I've ever seen! Sound like a great way to put a hole in you gas tank? And the difference between a starter under load and free spinning is very easy to figure out. I want to use this forum to get useful information for some of those hard to fix problems but some of your answers are so out there that I wonder if they have anyone editing this for pranksters! People are looking for answers. not bs
