Angry 97 jimmy SLE Studders and shakes after tune up... Need Help

After doing a tune up on my 97 jimmy it studders and shakes now when idling. It lacks power. I looked over everything and everything looks tight and good! The firing pattern is right, all the plugs and on tight so I don't know what else it could be! I changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I did the plugs and wires while a friend did the cap and rotor. He said one of the screws head broke off on the rotor but tighten the new rotor down with the one screw. Question will this effect the firing? Also there is very little play in the cap. I can turn it very slightly, is this natural? I wanna get my truck in order before the winter! Thanks for any advice in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
For the price of the rotor, I'd just try a new one.
Distributor bolt not tight ?

Yep! and also, you might want to make sure your wires aren't all twisted up, causing a jumping current somewhere.
If you want to check that out, here is a quote from another thread on how to do it. Pretty cool trick!

If you want to test for spark leak, park in a very dark area. Pop the hood and mist down the engine with a spray bottle full of water, engine running. If there is spark leaking out of the wires, you'll get an interesting light show.
