You didn't mention what brand so I'll assume it wasn't AC Delco..... If I'm correct, you'll be doing the job again shortly. An AC Delco cap & rotor will last 100K miles with no problem, as long as you put silicone dielectric grease on the terminals in the cap. You won't find ANY aftermarket brand that will go anywhere near that long, no matter what the price. The voice of 30 some odd years of experience talkin' Glad you got her fixed.

 

I have heard of those from older members of the family but again thats why i came here where the "Geezers" still (First word that comes to mind is Lurk) roam and have the knowledge to help us younger generations. And yeah captn they were AC delco i hate to do a job twice so i just took your advice. Thanks again.
