Default 98 Blazer won't engage 4X4 Hi

Hi folks! I've got a 1998 Blazer that won't engage in 4X4 Hi. It goes into Lo and back just fine, but not Hi. No light or anything on the 'Hi' switch. The transmission was rebuilt last July and everything ran good then. Is this a switch problem? If so how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance!

This is probably highly unlikely in your case but I thought the 4x4 wasn't working correctly in my truck when it was actually just the LED went out in 4 hi button.

Thanks for the reply! I don't think a blown LED is the problem. When I push the button, I don't hear anything at all happening, and the 2 Hi light stays on. When 4 Lo is pushed though (in neutral, as required), the 2 Hi Lo goes out and that light comes on as expected, and I can definitely hear the axle engaging.
