98 jimmy 4x4 erratic shifting only in the morning
Hello
Im sure you guys have probably heard of this but i cant seem to find the right answer,my friends truck is shifting erratically like it doesnt know whether to go from 1st to second or to stay in 1st only when its cold then when it gets warm it shifts fine !! He heard that it could be a t.p.s and we tested it and it seemed to have a flat spot in it , we replaced it -- so the problem went away ....bingo well it came back !!! then he replaced the coil pack which he heard was an issue ....bingo it went away again for like a month .....but it came back like a bad rash !!! so now he is hearing that the didtributor could be an issue and he says it has a little play !!! do you guys think that will solve it???? he gets a reaccuring emission evap code but theres no other code!! thanks gentlemen
