99 blazer front drive axle vacuum solenoid valve

Default 99 blazer front drive axle vacuum solenoid valve

I bought a blazer from my buddy he took out the soleniod valve and never replaced it so 4x4 dont work I can not find were I put the new one? All i can find is that it's located by the firewall please help to much snow!

Do you have a 4 button selector or a 3 button selector on your dash?

I have the 3 button 2wd 4hi 4low

The 3-button system has a mechanical valve located on the transfer case. There are pictures of it's location in one of the tech articles.

Only the 4-button system has the electric solenoid valve on the firewall.
