99 Blazer wont start
I have a 99 blazer 4.3 that wont start. I went out of town for a couple days and left my truck parked in my friends driveway. When i got back it wouldn't start. I have never had any starting problems with it. The battery is new and I can hear the fuel pump run. It just cranks and cranks but wont fire. It did snow while I was gone. Is it possible that there is just too much moisture under the hood?
I checked the fuel pressure at the test port an it was 58-59 and held there for awhile. I also pulled a plug and checked for spark and there was a spark. I also shot a little starting fluid down the throttle body at the suggestion of a friend and it still would not fire.
The guy at autozone suggested a new ignition control module but if there is spark I don't believe this would help. is there a way to test the old control module or the ingnition coil?
Oh and I did take the coil and control module to autozone for testing but he said that he was not able to test them because he could not find it in his book. Is there a way to test them at home?

If it won't fire with starting fluid, you either have an extremely flooded engine or improperly timed spark. Having spark and having it timed appropriately to support proper combustion are different things.
You used to be able to have your ICM and coil tested at most autoparts stores, but the stores are becoming less and less helpful in this regard. Most have stopped testing things.
