Default Airbag Light Won't Turn Off

I got in a front end collision and my airbag light turned on, but the bags didn't deploy. Well i've cleared the codes and removed the fuse to the SIR, but the light still remains on. Any ideas what's goin on?

I believe the light is on to tell you the airbag system is not working. Possibly there was damage to the sensors, and I believe removing the fuse will cause the light to stay on either way.

Go through the 98+ SIR disable procedure located in the Tech Articles (DIY) section.
