Another 4.3
I've read everything bi can find, not helping.
I've got a 2002 ZR2 4.3 4×4.
Started out I thought was just arandom misfire code This all coming from a mechanic.
He's Been throwing parts at it. New Plugs,Wires, Distributer, New Cap & Button. Spider injectors, TPS, IAC sensor, temp control sensor Ignition coil & maybe some I forgot.
Code came up for thrmastat also. It was changed. But the code came back.
He gave it back still missing at idle & idler is slow.
I thought Overdrive was out since I got it back. But now I think converter clutch isn't engaging.
Could this be a bad ECU? Just tired of spending money on this.
It has a Jasper rebuilt motor with 19,000 miles. But the transmission was changed right before I got it, with one from a junk yard.
Any advice, besides a new mechanic, would be awesome.
